In June 2025, the Institute of Mining Science and Technology and DSA Automation Joint Stock Company organized a workshop to introduce CI server solutions.
Attending the meeting on the side of DSA Automation Joint Stock Company were Mr. Bui Duc Hanh, Chairman of the Board of Directors, and related staff, on the side of the Institute of Mining Science and Technology, there were the participation of the Board of Directors, Head of the Electromechanical Department.
During the meeting, the two sides exchanged a lot of information about introducing Yokogawa’s CI Server solution. The consultant representative presented in detail the overall architecture of the system, main functions such as data collection, centralized monitoring and control, data backup and future expansion capabilities.

The CI Server deployment model at Hon Gai Coal Company – TKV, with the integration of existing control devices (PLC Siemens, Mitsubishi, Phoenix Contact, etc.) through the open protocol OPC UA.
The benefits of the solution in centralizing data, improving operational efficiency, optimizing maintenance, and supporting comprehensive digital transformation for the mine.
Technical requirements for server systems, industrial communication networks, central control room solutions, and compatibility with TKV Group’s ERP/MES system.
The two sides agreed to continue to coordinate to complete the detailed technical plan, conduct a pilot evaluation (PoC) in the next phase, and at the same time plan to submit to TKV Group for consideration and approval of the CI Server solution as a foundation for smart production management and monitoring at Hon Gai Coal Mine.
