Workshop on automation solutions in the mining industry
On March 8, 2019, the Institute of Mining Science and Technology – Vinacomin coordinated with DSA Automation Joint Stock Company to organize a workshop on automation solutions in the coal and mineral mining industry.
Participating on the side of DSA Automation Joint Stock Company were Mr. Bui Duc Hanh, Chairman of the Board of Directors, Mr. Vu Van Tan, Deputy General Director and related officers, on the side of the Institute of Mining Science and Technology – Vinacomin were Mr. Luu Van Thuc, Deputy Director and related officers.
At the meeting, representatives of DSA Automation Joint Stock Company introduced automation systems that can be easily synchronized, upgraded, expanded and integrated with each other to maximize automation in the stages of mineral mining production, underground and open-pit coal mining, and selection and processing. In particular, for underground coal mining, automation focuses on ventilation, coal mine gas monitoring, power control and monitoring; drainage pumping; transportation; longwall mining; personnel positioning, communication, centralized monitoring and dispatching. For open-pit coal mining, automation is focused on some fuel management monitoring stages; pit drainage pumping; control and monitoring of central power stations. For coal selection and processing, the monitoring stages of key technological parameters in the system will be maximally automated; camera monitoring of important locations and multi-dimensional communication systems will be monitored.
